Back by popular demand and delivered by AirMail from Sweden, I present to you the most abundant giveaway I have ever hosted. For two weeks straight after my Pia Eriksson Thilde Rag review posted, my inbox was full of readers wanting to know more about the brand and the Thilde Collection in particular, and I was happy to oblige. I am now so excited to announce that Rave and Review is giving away not just one, but FOUR Pia Eriksson Thilde Sets to our lucky readers!
So, besides their super cool Swedish design, what makes the Thilde Collection by Pia Ericksson so fabulous? I'm so glad you asked. We all know that babies and toddlers love tags, right? Pia Eriksson does, and that's why they created a whole collection of pieces that are covered in baby alluring fabric tags and are perfect to keep your little one entertained over and over again.
The Thilde tags are placed randomly throughout their Thilde pieces, not just along the perimeter of the blanket or pillows. This makes the tags that much more fun to lift, tug on and grasp because they require a greater concentration and skill to pick up. This has the ability to hold baby's attention for longer periods of time as she finds each tag and then figures out how to control her movements enough to manipulate the tags whichever direction she would like.
The Thilde tags are numerous sizes and shapes and are attached so they lay down mostly flat and beg to be played with. We all know that the most alluring things for babies are the things they search for and find, not the ones we lay in their hands, and Pia Eriksson clearly understands that. Some Thilde tags are big and visible, which baby loved at a really young age. But now that she’s older, she is particularly fond of the smallest tags, which are roughly the size of my calculator keys. The tags say all sorts of non-English words which I am guessing are washing instructions or care and use suggestions. Words like “Favoriten” and “Originalet” which I can only imagine mean what their English counterparts do, and others that I would have no way of even posing a guess as to their meaning.
Random Rave: When baby outgrows the security blanket and pillow, the set is perfect for ensuring your toddler's dolls sleep tight for years to come. The Thilde Pillows have a crinkle fabric sewn into them which makes a pleasingly subdued paper-like noise that baby adores. When paired with the soft and petite Thilde Rag, it makes for a great take-anywhere security blankie and pillow that is perfect for the curious baby.
